An excellent copy in original blind-stamped cloth (cloth very lightly soiled, very light wear to extremities, stain on front paste-down). First Edition of the English Translation by Kenneth R.H.Mackenzie. Lepsius, the celeb…rated German Egyptologist, was sent to Egypt by the King of Prussia at the urging of Bunsen and Humboldt to conduct historical and antiquarian research into the ancient Egyptian monuments in the valley of the Nile and the peninsula of Sinai.
