Print. Condizione: Very Good. This original, hand colored, engraving is from "The Scenery and Antiquities of Ireland" published by George Virtue, London, circa 1850. The scene was sketched by William Henry Bartlett (1809-1854) and engraved by Charles Cousen (1819 - 1889.) Dimensions including margins: 9.5" x 6.25". Light sun fading; no foxing; no chips or tears. These were drawn by various artists, the most famous of whom was Leslie Ward who used the 'nom de crayon' of "Spy". This portrait will come mounted/matted and ready to frame using archivist quality materials, mount size 18 x 12 inches, 47 x 31 cms. It will be presented in a cellophane wrapper with our label guaranteeing authenticity. We pack very well, between sheets of hardboard.
