Hbk; Blue cloth cover, 310pp; a little wear to cloth at corners/spine ends; gift inscription (not author) on fep dated 1919; also an address stamp; quite a reasonable copy with occasional grubby mark from use; cover illustrated in darker blue background, and in blue, black, red pink &… grey detail - girl raised in centre, hands on hips, among schoolboys; boy & girl on spine; name inside cover; Colour frontis; 3 further colour plates; G++; matches all points given in Sue sims identification Guide for 1st editions, except the positioning of colour plates a couple of pages out in location. Whether this makes any difference I really dont know. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall. Illustrated by Harold C Earnshaw; (illustratore).
