The edges are worn showing cardboard with light soiling and rubbing. The pages have light finger printing with a slight bit of soiling. 12 full color, full page illustrations show Polly, Peter and Spot in the first half of the book and Maggie, Tubby the dog and Billy in the second half.

Stapled binding. Would originally have been published at 9d in about 1948-54. *The artist has signed himself "Ern Shaw" but the artist was known as "Harold Earnshaw more famously as illustrator in many magazines and comics.
