Corners worn and rounded, small marginal dampstain, and the inner hinges loosened, but holding and not cracked. Lacking the dust jacket. SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Dr. Albert Sirmay (also spelled Szirmai), who did the arrangements, on the title page: "To Dr. Eugene Foldes most cordially, Alb. Sirmay." Sirmay, who was born in Hungary, became perhaps the most prominent editor in service of major Broadway composers; among them Kern, Cople Porter, George Gershwin, and Richard Rodgers. His signature is uncommon.
