Le kdo si ne bi obesil kostrunu pod trebuh, da se resi iz Polifemove votline. Gospoduje princip: kdor se nahaja zgoraj, mora navzdol, ceprav konec koncev specega ne smemo zbuditi - nasprotno, naj se mocneje spi. Dialektika je zatorej svet poln protislovij, ki je mojstrsko prikazan na primeru gasilca kot zakritega pozigalca.
