Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Good. 1st ed. f/piece (author photo-portrait)+x+155, a few text ills of gestures, inc a 3 page series of 12 illustrating gestures to accompany recitation of a patriotic passage; innocuous early sig.to front pastedown, gutters opening between f/piece and t.p., and also between pp.128/129, but fairly secure (slightly also pp.vi/vii), pp.128,129 also have a few minor marginal ink marks but otherwise text appears to be unmarked, heavy browning to out side of rear endpaper, I am wondering if the front end-paper was excised in manufacture or later - only small remainder along gutter recto f/piece; cOriginally purple covers have faded to creamy yellow except to centre of back where original purple has survived, lettering gilt to fr.and spine, dark patch top front corner is actually only unfaded, corners rubbed a little otherwise actually quite clean and unworn. Obviously needs a little loving attention. Very scarce. I note that although published in Wales, with an author's intro. dated from Cardiff (with his Welsh surname - Cynonfardd - in parentheses) he is billed on t.p. as 'Graduate of the National School of Elocation and Oratory, Philadelphia, U.S.A.'.
