Hard Cover. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. The covers and spine have moderate wear and there is a small shadow the size of a dime on the front top right corner where a sticker was removed. This came from a military museum and they stamped their information on the front pastedown and front free end paper otherwise the pages are cle…an. There was a card pocket on the back pastedown which was removed and has left a bit of a scar with the museums information stamped there also and the back hinge is partially cracked. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.

Sostiene che il governo britannico (non l'opinione pubblica!), con Chamberlain e l'accordo Anglo-Italiano ecc., pur protestando imparzialità, non aiutò il legittimo governo repubblicano spagnolo, anzi lo tradì (alevos…ia = tradimento), e appoggiò di fatto (in chiave anticomunista) la vittoria del golpista Francisco Franco sostenuto da Hitler e Mussolini; il governo britannico avrebbe potuto aiutare a soffocare la ribellione franchista ed evitare gli orrori di una guerra prolungata, garantendo davvero la futura pace mondiale. Di sicuro interesse. I frammenti del "Diario" occupano le ultime 58 pagine. Importante.
