Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce record of the 1958 observance of this illustrious Italian carnival. ~SP22~ [1.5P] The 1958 magazine/program/guide for the Carnival of Viareggio (Carnevale di Viareggio), a carnival event annually held in the Tuscan city of Viareggio, considered amongst the most renowned carnival celebrations in both Italy and Europe. Viareggio in Maschera ('Viareggio in Mask') has been produced every year since 1921. Founded by Giuseppe Giannini, every year it tells the story of the Masquerade Courses, the program of events and presents all the buildings that participated in the fashion shows. A precious document that over the years has been enriched and graphically evolved.
