Paperback. Condizione: Good. 1. Potloodaantekeningen French Saint Hubert, né vers 656 à Toulouse et mort en 727 à Tervuren, est connu comme l? Apôtre des Ardennes et le saint patron des chasseurs. Issu d?une famille noble, il mena d?abord une vie mondaine à la cour mérovingienne. Selon la légende, un Vendredi saint, alors qu?il chassait dans la forêt des Ardennes, il eut une vision d?un cerf portant une croix lumineuse entre ses bois ; cette apparition provoqua sa conversion. Devenu disciple de saint Lambert, évêque de Maastricht, Hubert lui succéda après son martyre et transféra le siège épiscopal à Liège. Son zèle missionnaire contribua à l?évangélisation des Ardennes et à la fondation de plusieurs églises. Il mourut en 727 et fut inhumé à Andage (aujourd?hui Saint-Hubert, en Belgique), où se développa un important pèlerinage autour de son culte.
