They are in a good condition with edge ware shading and age spotting on the top of the front board. The jacket is also in a good condition because it has minor losses at the top of the front and at the top of the spine, with a minimal nick on the bottom section of the spine and back cover. The price is unclipped. The jacket is covered by a clear plastic wrapper. The inside pages are in a good condition, with very minimal spotting, and age foxing around the pages. The golden island of Tahiti seemed a paradise to the sea-weary crew of H.M.S Dolphin when, in 1767, they first set foot on its shores.
