Pages and photographs are lightly tanned throughout. Heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Clipped jacket has heavy edgewear with areas of loss, heavy tears, chips, and creasing. Light tanning and tape to spine and edges. Foxing overall.

Pictorial Hard Boards. Condizione: Good. 1st Edition. 64pp. A very scarce copy. A childrens book which features a toad in many anthropomorphic guises. A lovely copy with numerous sepia photographs illustrating the text throughout. Loss of the spine strip and splitting to the rear inner hinge, though the book remains tightly bound. Rubbing to the edges of the board and patchy rubbing to the rear board. There is slight loss of the paper covering the front edge of the front board for 1 cm. Several numerals and a price in biro to the head of the front end paper. Internally the book is surprisingly clean. A good copy.
