Aggiungi al carrellopaperback. Condizione: Acceptable. Please see the condition note after this for details, if this is missing please consider Acceptable to mean poor quality that could include major staining, water damage, writing, missing dustjacket, etc etc. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.

This is not an x-library copy, and scarce thus. "The milking, planting, herding, and harvesting left Paddy little free time, but what time he had he spent training his big Irish draught horse Dan to jump.". Hamilton is an Irish/British author. Born in Gloucestershire, although soon after her birth moved to Ireland and there grew up in the family home of Hamwood House, Dunboyne, Co. Meath. During WWII she served in the Auxilliary Territorial Service and achieved the rank of Captain. She enjoyed riding and regularly visited Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire in England, where she was a keen and highly regarded member of the Heythrop Hunt. There she hunted two horses: Samphire and Phoenix. In 1960 she moved to London. Her writing career included a number of children's novels, all featuring horses and ponies. Three form a series about a mare called Speedy and her foals, and another is also linked to these in terms of the place setting. The books are all set in the author's beloved Ireland, although were published in the UK and USA. Margery Jean Gill (5 April 1925 31 October 2008) was a British illustrator of children's books. Her name may be little known but her drawings' unmistakable style is familiar to generations of young readers.
