Oliver Evans (13 de Setembro de 1755 - 15 de Abril de 1819) foi um inventor, engenheiro e empresário americano nascido na Delaware rural e mais tarde estabelecido comercialmente em Filadélfia. He was one of the first Americans to build steam engines and an advocate of high pressure steam (vs. low pressure steam). A pioneer in the fields of automation, materials handling and steam power, Evans was one of the most prolific and influential inventors in America"s early years.
