A VG- hardcover in no dust jacket (if issued). While not bright white and with a few instances where the pages open all the way to the binding, the contents (486 + a frontispiece and 16 additional illustrations) appear mark free, fully legible, complete, and securely bound. Green cloth with dull gilt lettering and lines on the spine. Lightly bumped and rubbed in the extremities and at the spine's head and tail edges. Very light rubbing along some edges. The surface of the covers has light rubbing and perhaps a touch of dust staining from shelf wear along with slight variations in the surface sheen. No ex-library markings.…
