Inscribed on the front endpaper as a gift to Lovejoy from his mother in 1958, upon his return to the US from a trip abroad. Makes mention of Uncle Eulie. Also signed by Lovejoy on the inside front cover. This volume comes from the collection of Dr. Thomas Lovejoy, who was a passionate book collector as well as a renowned biologist.
