Hardbound. Condizione: Very Good. 1st Edition, so stated. Description: Dust jacket by H Lawrence Hoffman. The uninhibited autobiography of a Midwest lawyer. Following is taken from the publisher's blurb: ''Full of flamboyant comedy, this outrageously uninhibited book is the product of a middle western lawyer, who got his early training in a saloon, rustling sandwiches and booze for his mentor, 'Justice' Ankrom, part-time blacksmith and ranting attorney of the old fire-eating school. The author's early training has had an influence on both his hyperbolic style and his pungent subject matter. A natural writer, he tells a story with a gifted rambunctiousness of phrase, yet the touchstone of human warmth is the author's own personality, a searching kindliness behind his humor.'' BINDING/CONDITION: brown boards with red and gilt one the spine; a Very Good book, with a Good dust jacket; publisher's price on the jacket flap is intact. The jacket is badly faded at the spine, otherwise very good. 8vo (about 8.25 inches tall). 213 pages.
