Binding rubbed, spine partially perished, plates clean. An uncommon book normally bound in 2 vols. with title page and one leaf of letterpress to each volume. Thomas William Hammond, 1854-1935, was a respected Nottingham artist, born in America, who published this book intended as a guide for draughtsmen and designers.
