An informative guide to the industry in the age of hot-metal, rotary presses, linotypes, hand set type and even earlier historic printing processes. First edition of 1959, unpaginated,about 100 pages, each cover has an applied art panel depicting different elements of printing, b/w photos/art throughout, document reprductions, machinery illustrations, engravings etc. VG in colour card covers with wire spiral binding, internally excellent, no inscriptions.
