Insieme a fascicoli sciolti nella loro brossura originale, in più che buone quando non ottime condizioni, completo del rarissimo numero 2 con la prima acquaforte di Giorgio Morandi mai pubblicata prima. Pubblicata dal 15 giugno 1918 al 15 febbraio 1919 per dodici numeri mensili in 8 fascicoli (n. 6-7-8 triplo, nn. 9-10 e 11-12 doppi) con la direzione di Giuseppe Raimondi e Riccardo Bacchelli in un continuo scambio epistolare di suggestioni con Carlo Carrà, Filippo De Pisis, Giorgio De Chirico e Alberto Savinio «La Raccolta» rappresentò il momento fondativo della Metafisica nonché incunabolo del cosiddetto "ritorno all'ordine", concretizzatosi quasi senza soluzione di continuità nella «Ronda» e in «Valori plastici». -- «La Raccolta» è stata una rivista di poveri mezzi ma di ammirevoli intenti e respiro europeo, connessa al più ampio circuito dell'avanguardia e del modernismo che uscivano a pezzi ma vivi e vivaci dalla grande guerra: esplicite sono le connessioni con la coeva «Sic» di Pierre Albert-Birot, «Nord-Sud» di Pierre Reverdy, la prima serie di «Noi» di Enrico Prampolini, e nelle pagine finali scorrono copiosi i nomi di Apollinaire, Max Jacob, Paul Dermée, Vicente Huidobro. -- Tra le pagine della «Raccolta» si leggono pregevoli contributi di giovani del calibro di Giuseppe Ungaretti la bellissima suite «Atti primaverili e d'altre stagioni» Ardengo Soffici, Clemente Rebora, Vincenzo Cardarelli, Primo Conti, Raffaello Franchi, Carlo Linati, Lorenzo Montano, Cesare Angelini. A questi si aggiunse un giovane talentuoso amico di Raimondi e destinato a un fulgido futuro: Giorgio Morandi, di cui la rivista pubblica, nel secondo fascicolo, la primissima acquaforte.
