Putnam, but this is the Memorial Edition from Borden, published 1949. Text also follows the 1924 version published serially in Argosy, r…ather than the Putnam version. Rust-red cloth with gold titles and decoration, with tape ghosts to top and bottom edges of front and rear panels, dampstaining to spine foot and bottom edges of front and back panels near the spine. Spine square. Binding sound. Dust jacket toned, the exterior clean and bright, with tape remnants to verso which are not discernible from the front. DJ protected in Mylar. Spotting to top of textblock, with the fore-edge moderately foxed. Small scrape to front paste down; small, faint spots of dampstaining to bottom edges of both inner hinges; small tape stains to bottom margins of both free endpapers. Interior else clean, text unmarked. Signed.
