Contains a typed letter that appears to be from the granddaughter of the author, thanking the recipient for allowing her to see his copy of her grandfather's book.Signs of wear, a little scuffing, some rubbing at edges and on hinges. A little marking but quite clean and vivid. Bumped corners. Some slackness to binding, a bit of strain to textblock, a loose plate between pages 48 and 49 but otherwise holding. Page edges deckled, upper edges opened, a bit browned and scuffed. Some marking to endpapers, bookplate on front pastedown. A little toning and occasional marking to page surfaces but generally clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc.See pictures for further information. viii, 171 pp. n.
