Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: fine. First Edition. Two items offered together, both in fine condition. The main text is one of 150 copies printed, bound in white cloth with mounted paper labels, in a fine original dust jacket. The supplement is bound in decorative paper-covered boards with mounted paper label. The two volumes provide a short history and checklist (with revisions) of this short-lived California press, which was founded by Glenn Schaefer, a book collector and head of the Security Title Insurance and Guarantee Company of Los Angeles. Ward Ritchie writes in the Foreward to the main volume that "But for the untimely death of Glenn Schaefer soon after the press' inception.the San Pasqual Press might have become the premier publishing house of the West. The few books they did publish were outstanding trade publications, well-chosen and well-designed.".
