Douglas Glass [1901 â" 1978] was an English photographer most noted for his series 'The Portrait Gallery' that ran in the Sunday Times from 1949 â" 61. It is likely that many of these portraits were published during that time; in a number of cases there is more than one image although some are also duplicated. He is represented by a number of photographs in the National Portrait Gallery, London. The majority of these images bear the photographer's ink stamp to verso, some have additional identification and/or publication notes.…
