The aim was to establish whether recr…uitment, manner of handling workers and their salary levels influenced their performance. Guided by Arderfer s ERG theoretical framework the study used simple random sampling techniques to gather primary data on water, social services and environment department of Nairobi City Council. The study found a significant correlation between service delivery and satisfaction therefore recommended fair recruitment, handling and good remunerations that would take good care of the family for the worker to be productive. 68 pp. Englisch.

Finally, the challenges encountered by the entrepreneurs in accessing micro-finance products were examined in the study.Through scientific methods the books assesses available models micro-finance and legal framework in serving the rural entrepreneurs in western Kenya.The book also revealed that microfinance has not significantly addressed family planning and medication needs among its beneficiaries. Gender preferences in accessing microfinance services were not there and collateral was the biggest challenge in accessing micro-credit. 128 pp. Englisch.
