Illustrated by 44 pages of plates, including portrait frontispiece and facsimiles, by folding genealogical table and by text figures, including three maps. Revised edition of the well illustrated definitive biography of John Bunyan by John Brown (1830-1922), Minister of the Church at Bunyan Meeting, Bedford, originally published in 1885. Edited by Frank Mott Harrison with marginal notes, addenda and appendices. It includes an appreciation of Dr. Brown by Dr. J. D. Jones and a bibliography of his writings by Geoffrey Langdon Keynes.
