Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book is an extract from a speech delivered during the celebration of the opening of Keble College. The author, the founding Warden of Keble College, presents the challenges and triumphs the institution has faced in its early years. The difficulties lay in not only securing enough students and staff but also in establishing a curriculum that allowed for both economical and religious education, while maintaining social prestige. The text serves as a valuable historical record of the founding of Keble College and gives insight into the development of the university system during the Victorian era. It is also a testament to the author's vision and determination in establishing an institution that would provide affordable, faith-based education to future generations. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
