Una vez que incluso sus más reconocidos hagiógrafos dan por concluidas las sucesivas oleadas de democratización, hemos caído en la cuenta de que en esta materia no nos vale ya, como pensábamos, quedarnos como estamos. Atrincherarnos en la defensa de la imperfecta, incompleta democracia existente equivale a conformarse con su muerte por inanición, un suicidio programado.
