Rebacked with red cloth similar to the original and with the endpapers strengthened. Covers scuffed and worn. Bookplate of Pamela and Raymond Lister to the front pastedown. New cords. Farrow, G. E. [George Edward Farrow (17 March 1862 - 1919 born in Ipswich in England, was a noted British children's book author of whose life little is known]. Illustrated by Alan Wright (1864-1959), husband of Anne Anderson, who was a distinctive illustrator in his own right, with a particular talent for animal subjects.
