Complete collection of self-portraits of painters extant in the Uffizi collection in Florence. The 50 portrait engravings are printed on extra strong paper with wide margins (portrait size approx. 250 x 175 mm). Rare publication which most certainly ranks among the more expensive publications to be brought home from '' the Grand Tour ''. We could trace only one copy in OCLC (Oxford Sackler SAC).A really extraordinary fine copy.
