Bookplate on front pastedown. Bound in navy-blue leather with gilt lettering stamped on spine and cover, gilt flag illustration stamped on cover. Corners a tad bumped. A tribute to the finest pleasure craft constructed, itself commensurate in style with fine paper and a full morocco binding. The chapter titled "Life on Board the Royal Yacht" includes "Personnel of the Royal Apartments," catering, sports, etc. A handsome book.
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. Internally clean and unmarked copy with deckled edges. Hinges remain firm while corners are lightly bumped with a touch of wear to tips. Royal blue boards with gilt titles and pennant to front, titles only to spine but all bright and shiny. Spine and front board along spine, from gutter inward an inch, has sun exposure and faded. Spine heel has wear due to weight and size but free of fraying. An attractive copy despite a cosmetic flaw. Solid and tight. Tissues guards present. BP/Yachting/British Royal History.
