A vivid record of the life and work of Arthur Machen (Arthur Llewellyn Jones), a Welsh author and mystic of the 1890s and early 20th century best known for his influential supernatural, fantasy, and horror fiction, including the now considered classic novella, The Great God Pan. Written by British author, poet and compiler of anthologies, John Gawsworth. As a young man he ran the Twyn Barlwm Pres, a small press with its title inspired by the mountain of Twyn Barlwm in South Wales, beloved by Arthur Machen.
