Édition originale de la traduction d'Alphonse Cerfbeer de Medelsheim, de ce délicieux recueil de contes traduits par Alphonse Cerfberr de Medelsheim (1817-1883), issu de l'œuvre de l'écrivain et compilateur allemand Johann Karl August Musäus (1735-1787). Ces contes sont extraits de ce qui est considéré comme son chef-d'œuvre : Volksmärchen der Deutschen, publié pour la première fois entre 1782 et 1786.
