The Abraham brothers who in around 1900 planned to produce a guide to Snowdonia but here they ran into obstructive secrecy and resentment over their intrusion into the area from the leisured classes who made up the majority of climbers in Snowdonia and looked down on the Abrahams, who were in trade!
