Henry Mazarine falls in love with a young woman and marries her. The tale is centered around the marriage and her discontent or boredom. The story is told by a narrator in the first person. This story was first published as a serial in his Indian newspaper 'The Mofussilite' in 1845. The story appears here in book form for the first time.The author is Australian, but the story is set in Britain and Europe. (No 19 in the 'Australian Books on Demand' series from Mulini Press.
