Aggiungi al carrello"Sales/posting to the USA suspended". Card covers, 288pp, b&w photos. A little wear on card edges/corners; a very good copy. Introduction by Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir Arthur Harris. Gibson describes the work of the air crews in Bomber and Fighter Squadrons during WWII, including 83 Squadron, 29 Squadron, 106 Squadron, a…nd 617 Squadron. The original post war edition of Enemy Coast Ahead was cut by the censors to conceal not only specific details of Gibson's career but more explicitly his views of the conduct of the bombing campaigns, his opinions of senior officers and his thoughts on the behaviour of the general population during wartime conditions. This edition reinstates Gibson's original manuscript.
