He is noted for having led expeditions to observe solar eclipses to Siberia (1936) and Sudan (1952). Dimensions: 3" x 5" in very good condition with his Autograph in blue pen. 4 cards have his autograph only, and the fifth says "12 March 1964 With Many good wishes for your health! Georgio Abetti." The reverse has seller notes in pencil, 3 of them are with a date of 4/34/68, the last two with the date of 3/12/64.
