Eines von 100 Exemplaren des Künstlerbuchs. - Der Maler und Graphiker Goebel (1906-75), ehedem Student an der Akademie der bildenden Künste bei Rudolf Jettmar, nahm an Ausstellungen des Hagenbunds teil und war Mitglied der Wiener Künstlervereinigung "Der Kreis". Auch im Atelier seiner Lebensgefährtin, der Malerin Greta Freist (1904-93) verkehrend, wurde er mit Schriftstellern wie Otto Basil oder Elias Canetti bekannt. 1936 nach Paris übersiedelt, wurde er zu Beginn des Zweiten Weltkriegs interniert, 1944/45 hatte er unter Repressalien der deutschen Besatzer zu leiden. Nach dem Krieg sich vornehmlich der neoexpressionistischen Malerei zuwendend, gründete er 1950 im Atelier Greta Freists die französische Sektion des Internationalen Art-Clubs. - Deckel etwas geworfen, sonst tadellos.
