Johann Görcke (1750 Sorquitten (Ostpreußen) - 1822 Potsdam), Arzt und Militärarzt. "Seit 1763 Lehre bei dem Wundarzt und Regimentschirurgen, 1767 Compagnie-Chirurg in Berlin, 1788 Regiments-Chirurg, 1792 Mit-Direktor der Feldlazarette in Frankreich. 1797 General-Chirurg. Görckes Verdienste lagen auf sanitäts-organisatorischen Gebiet. Auf ihn geht die Einführung ambulanter Feldlazarette, gefederten Krankenwagen und die Errichtung von Veliten Compagnien (Krankenträger-Abteilungen) zurück. Sein größtes Verdienst liegt in der Gründung der medizinisch-chirurgischen "Pepinière" (1795), seit 1818 Friedrich-Wilhelm-Institut.
