Venezia, senza nome di stampatore, 1600. In-4° (24 x 18), pp. (58)+1388, testo su 2 colonne a centro pagina, commentari e glosse a contorno. 2 xilografie a piena pagina collocate alla fine degli Indici e prima del testo, raffiguranti l'Arbor Consanguineitatis, e l'Arbor Affinitatis. Frontespizio in caratteri rossi e neri, con il… ritratto di Gregorio IX in xilografia al centro. Leg. mezza pelle primissimi anni del XIX sec., titolo in oro al dorso. Un timbro di bibl. estinta al frontespizio, rinforzi nel margine esterno destro di alcuni fascicoli dell'indice, e qualche traccia d'uso nel testo, ma buon es.(12462) Bella edizione veneziana, senza nome di stampatore (sovente si trattava di più stampatori associati), dei Decrectales di Papa Gregorio IX, arricchita delle note e delle glosse dei commentatori successivi, con i fitti indici analitici compilati dal giurista bolognese Lodovico Bolognini. Il testo è impresso in nitidi caratteri assai minuti, che racchiudono i capitoli dei "Decretales". Interessanti le 2 xilografie a piena pagina poste dopo gli indici analitici. Come è noto, i Decretales di Papa Gregorio IX (1170-1241), al secolo Ugolino dei conti di Segni, celebre per la scomunica di Federico II, furono fatti redigere nel 1334 dal domenicano Raimondo di Peñafort, e vollero sistematizzare in modo organico tutto il "corpus" del diritto canonico.

Opera rara purtroppo scompleta: mancano 6 pagine iniziali, le ultime 2 pagine del testo commentato e le pp. 53 cifrate+3 nn. di "Margarita Decretalium Libellus admodum Singularis". E' il Tomo II del "Corpus Iuris Canonici com Notis variorum" (cfr. Camerini, I, pp. 293-295, n. 1189).

The library of this convent (in the Netherlands) was sold in auction October 1970 in Amsterdam. Binding slightly soiled, interior with the usual (minor) stains and soiling, but in all still a fine copy. USTC 806934.
