Greulich, der 1925 verstarb, setzte sich für das Frauenwahlrecht in der Schweiz ein. Als Sekretär der Züricher Sektion der Internationalen Arbeiter-Assoziation (IAA) war er an der Gründung verschiedener Gewerkschaften und der Sozialdemokratischen Partei der Schweiz (SPS) beteiligt. 1902 wurde er Mitglied des Schweizer Nationalrats.
