Rivista / Giornale Prima edizione
First Five Issues - Conditions the same unless noted: Issues 2 through 5 are Near Fine or better - no creases or shelfwear to speak of, sharp corners, bright colors with no fading. Seems almost unread. No. 1 has a bit of wear and has a small hole punched through the small Print Mint circular logo in the upper left corner with some tape strengthening same hole to rear corner. Colors are still very right with no fading and interior is NF or better. Overall No. 1 is close to NF but certainly at least Very Good++. Arcade was a short-lived but deeply influential anthology that captured the underground comix scene, trying to bring it to the newstands throughout the country. The magazine ran for only 7 issues - approx. 20,000 copies issued, not reprinted. Primary editors were Art Spiegelman and Bill Griffith (Zippy the Pinhead) and showcased writings and comic illustrations by underground icons like Robert Crumb, S. Clay Wilson, and Aline Kominsky along with more well known counter-culture heroes like Bukowski and Burroughs.
