The Kepler Symposium pamphlet contains contemporary manuscript annotations by an attendee commenting on presentations and discussions concerning Keplerian astronomy, historiography, optics, and scientific transmission. The congress bulletins preserve detailed logistical and organizational information for foreign participants in Moscow during the Cold War period, including multilingual translation arrangements, schedules, and Intourist coordination. Modest edgewear, toning, and occasional creasing; minor chipping to the two highly fragile pamphlets in brown wrapper. Good to very good overall nonetheless. Scarce survivals of Soviet academic conference ephemera documenting East-West scholarly exchange during the détente era.
