Frucht des selbstgefälligen Sistierens waren die 'Vergessenen Wiener Barockkünstler' (Bd. 1 'Die Familie Astrosser', 1920; Bd. 2 'Die Malerfamilie Aurbach, 1926'). - Ein wohl als Zeitungsbeitrag gedachtes, mit März 1908 datiertes und unterzeichnetes Manuskript setzt sich streitlustig mit einem "wahrhaft sensationellen Beethovenfund" auseinander, den der Verfasser "bekanntlich [.] gemacht" habe und der "die ganze Welt, im Wege der Zeitungsstimmen, welche mir vorliegen, in Bewegung gesetzt hat".
