Saphir und anderen war er ein Hauptbeiträger der Theaterzeitung. - Deckel mit diskretem Stempel von Rosa Gerold (1829-1907), die aus Thüringen stammt und den Buchhändler Gerold geheiratet hatte, befreundet insbesondere mit Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach. Gerolds Salon in der Postgasse liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe unseres Antiquariats. - In der Originalgestalt selten, Rücken etwas brüchig.
