Moderne Kommunikationstechnologien haben ihr Netz über die Welt gelegt, und nur der wohnt in ihr, der »ans Netz geht«. Jenseits davon nichts als Niemandsland, Nichtinformation, Weltlosigkeit ? so der Eindruck. Gibt es dort noch etwas? Und wenn ja, von welcher Qualität? Seit den vergangenen Jahren ist die Idee der Zusammenarbeit durch den Aufbau von Netzwerken auch im Bildungsbereich in eine hochkonjunkturelle Phase geraten. Schulen schließen sich zusammen, Lehrerinnen und Lehrer bilden Netze. Entwicklungsideen werden on-line geschickt. Synergien sollen entstehen. Innovationen werden in Windeseile verbreitet. Bei genauerem Hinsehen wird jedoch deutlich, dass Netzwerk nicht gleich Netzwerk ist.
