Harold Noice first went north with Stefansson in 1915-17. He published this account of the expedition in 1924. He later became involved in Stefansson's tragic Wrangel Island operation as the commander of the relief expedition in 1923. Noice's involvement in the Wrangel Island tragedy later led to a nervous breakdown. Excellent photographs!
