A little discolouration/bumping to the head/tail of the spine. Page fore-edges have some light marks. (6) + 78 pp. Internally, this copy is SIGNED by the author in green ink to the front free endpaper (Ian Hay Beith). The Frontispiece is stained around the edges of the image - but, very oddly, no stains affect the remainder of the pages / text, which is VG. I'd be tempted to say that the frontispiece was stained before being inserted on publication? But really I have no idea? .
