After Working As An Assistant To Designer Jean-Paul Gaultier From 1990 To 1992, He Went On To Work At Pôles, Designing Its Knitwear Line Followed By A Series Of Inauspicious Assignments With Different Companies, Including The Italian House Of Callaghan. Ghesquière Eventually Landed A Job Doing The Licensing For Paris Fashion House Balenciaga And Designing For The Asian Market.
