Volume I deals with herbals, gardening books and early scientific and floristic works of the 16th and 17th centuries, and contains the bibliography for those centuries. Volume II is devoted to the 18th century and covers an increasingly wide field of interest, ranging from herbáis to books on plants of economic importance. Volume III contains the bibliography for the 18th century."
